AdvantEdge Version 3.0 software simulation package is dedicated to metal-cutting processes. The AdvantEdge is a workstation-based engineering analysis and simulation software tool that predicts the cutting effects of the tool edge, geometry, and process parameters into the chosen workpiece material. AdvantEdge has been experimentally validated to predict cutting forces, chip formation, temperature, stress, and other variable parameters at the edge of the cutting tool into the workpiece during metal-cutting processes.
