Taking cues from the owl, a bird with low wing noise, a firm has enhanced the aerodynamic properties of its axial fan FE2owlet with a new form of wing geometry. The resultant low noise and greater efficiency make the FE2owlet suited for ventilation applications in all climates where volume flow rates with low noise and compact design are required. Also improved is the centrifugal fan, Vpro, which features a new blade geometry developed by combining the acoustics technology with the advantages of the firm’s two impeller model series G and M. With low noise and rotational tone emissions, the new grooved centrifugal fan is suited for use in roof fans, air and water heat pumps, and precision air-handling units.
