Hot surface ignition (HSI) systems have been used in a variety of gas applications for over 30 years. During those 30 years, Saint-Gobain Igniter Products (makers of the original Norton igniter) has developed two igniter families to meet the demanding needs of these markets.

Today, Saint-Gobain is a leading worldwide supplier of hot surface igniters for 12, 24, 120, and 208–240 volt control systems for the heating, range, dryer, commercial cooking, 12 volt equipment, and analytical markets.

Ongoing partnerships with all control manufacturers ensure that Saint-Gobain igniters are designed to complement state-of-the-art control systems.

As the needs of the worldwide appliance and heating products market become more complex, Saint-Gobain’s R&D facilities located in Northboro, MA, continue to develop hot surface igniters to meet these market needs.

Saint-Gobain supplies its igniters worldwide. Sales offices are located throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

All Saint-Gobain igniters are made in and shipped from our two manufacturing plants located in Milford, New Hampshire, U.S.A. or our assembly facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
