Insulfrax provides thermal insulation at operating temperatures up to 2012°F (1100°C). The product family was developed from a calcium, magnesium, and silica chemistry. These soluble fiber products are designed to have enhanced in vitro solubility characteristics that enable these products to meet European regulatory requirements (Directive 97/69/EC) for man-made vitreous fibers. The product family consists of fiber, needled blanket, Anchor-Loc modules, bonded modules, and paper.
