A range of custom-built equipment combines multiple assembly functions and produces very specific finished electrical and electronic parts. The custom assembly equipment produces finished parts by combining multiple functions such as bending, brazing, welding, crimping, cutting, inserting, and attaching of components. Capable of throughput up to 3000 parts per hour, the fully programmable equipment can introduce stamped-metal lead frames from a reel, press-fit onto ceramic insulators, and attach and terminate wire leads. Designed to reduce labor and efficiently produce a finished part that has one SKU number, the assembly equipment can accommodate stampings that range from 0.008 to 0.90 in. thick and multiple components made from ceramics and other materials.
