P-245 HDA, a class F, acrylic combination tape can be used for a wide range of electrical insulating applications. According to the company, the product is ideally suited for applications requiring a 155°C temperature rating and excellent solvent resistance. With a rating of 6,500 V, the tape is recommended for use in manufacturing bobbin, stick and form wound coils, ground and barrier insulation, holding winding starts and finishes, coil end insulation, coil banding, terminal board pads, outer protective wraps, lead cross-over insulation, insulating connections, and lead wire anchoring. Additionally, the tape is said to be ideal for sub-fractional and fractional horsepower motor windings, banding field coils, bundling end turns, insulating connections, and winding separator/phase insulation.
