The FAN7383, FAN7384 and FAN73832 high-voltage gate driver ICs (HVIC) feature an innovative common-mode dv/dt noise-canceling circuit which is said to achieve excellent noise immunity. The HVICs are said to offer savings of at least 50 percent PCB area compared to optocoupler or pulse transformer-based solutions. The unit’s high performance ensures system reliability and energy efficiency. The HVICs are said to be the optimal solution for driving MOSFETs and IGBTs in a wide array of consumer and industrial applications up to 600 V. Applications include inverter motor drives, switch-mode power supplies and electronic ballasts. Fairchild Semiconductor
