A fiberglass fabric coated with silicone rubber from the supplier is said to have resistance to temperatures up to 500°F (260°C), as well as resistance to abrasion, flexing, tear, and puncture. The rubber-coated fabric is silver in color and said to provide water, oil and chemical resistance, generate little smoke, and to be easily sewn or fabricated.
