The company offers RoHS compliance in 100 percent of its power cord and cable assembly products manufactured in its main D.G. China facility. The RoHS Directive restricts the presence of hazardous materials, including lead, mercury, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDE). As of July 1, 2006, European Union member states are obliged to ensure that all new commercial electrical equipment does not contain substances restricted by the directive. In response to the directive, the power cord supplier says it uses no heavy metals or hazardous substances in its manufacturing. All incoming materials require proof of compliance and are randomly sampled and tested by the company’s internal ICP material analysis laboratory for non-conforming materials. Conductive,
