Able to make both straight and curved cuts, the slitting shears from the company are said to be flexible enough to handle a range of applications, including the cutting of spiral seam ducts, wire ducts, and "C," "U" and "L" profiles. The shears are used for spiral duct and other ventilation shaft assembly, cladding construction and tasks such as shearing coil line. Because of the uniquely designed blade geometry, the shear is said to produce a continuous spiral chip that curls up and out of the cutting area to allow a clear view of the workpiece. Electric, pneumatic and cordless models are available. TRUMPF Inc.
