Sabaf’s Research and Development department has developed a new generation of burners, the Series III range. According to the company, the design principles of the new burner range primarily focus on optimizing consumption and maximizing reduction of environmental emission hazards. The company’s current burners provide for an average efficiency (the actual calorific value of the gas being burned) of 55 percent, with carbon monoxide emission values that meet standard regulation requirements. Sabaf laboratory tests of the Series III burners, however, have resulted in efficiency values amounting to 65 percent, with an increase of more than 18 percent compared to current average values. This means that boiling 10 L of water will require less time and gas consumption, with a significant reduction of polluting substances, the company says.
