Designed to control liquid levels in both non-metal and metal tubs and tanks, the company’s CLS 16 capacitive sensor has a flat design suited for use in sinks, bathtubs, hot tubs, spas, and other containers of non-aggressive liquids. According to the company, the sensor has an aluminum housing, a small mounting diameter of 16 mm, and a short mounting depth of 8 mm behind the panel.

The sensor can reportedly withstand harsh weather and extreme temperatures from 0°C to 70°C and can be varnished in colors to match mounting surfaces. The capacitive sensor is fastened directly to the tub or tank and is said to provide a higher degree of fluid level tolerance and accuracy over conventional float devices. The company says the CLS 16 has an NPN output and requires a supply voltage of 7.5 to 24 V d.c.
