Sensistor Technologies introduces the H2000™, which uses hydrogen as a tracer gas to detect leaks. The industrial leak detection instrument is said to offer exceptional leak testing capabilities. According to the company, the H2000 is a compact and robust system that is extremely sensitive to hydrogen gas and can be used to detect leaks that are smaller than bacteria. Using a safe, non-hazardous 5-percent hydrogen in a 95-percent nitrogen mixture, it offers detection solutions for a variety of applications, including the ability to disclose and localize leaks, as well as the detection of leaks with high sensitivity, independent of temperature.

The device is electronic and reportedly requires no pumps, valves, or vacuums and, thus, needs minimum maintenance. Other features include a standard probe with no sample suction, preventing dust contamination. The probe can also be equipped with a protective cover that allows leak detection on wet objects.
