The company’s new 1930 Series is said to be ideal for medical, food preparation, floor care, and industrial markets. The switches’ accordion-style protective seal is molded in a two-shot process bonding the actuator to the seal. According to the company, its engineers realized that many of the weeping-style switches available in the market only protected the contacts and allowed contaminants into the application. By design, the seal reportedly wraps underneath the bezel to provide a positive seal to the application. The 1930 Series is rated IP65.
