Valulite™ Fiberglass Insulation is made
from borosilicate glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin. The lightweight, highly resilient blanket-type thermal and acoustical insulation is said to be ideal for HVAC and other OEM applications. The insulation blanket is available in two levels of conductivity: Valulite-24 (k = 0.24) and Valulite-25 (k = 0.25). Both versions are said to provide
excellent acoustical performance and are effective at temperatures up to 350?F (177?C), unfaced. The insulation blanket forms easily around corners and curved surfaces and is readily cut in die presses or with a knife.
