Python Power(tm) is a power and output conversion accessory that allows a d.c. sensor to be installed in locations where only a.c. power is available or utilized to maximize installation efficiency. The unit consists of a universal in-line a.c./d.c. power supply and TRIAC output switch. The output switch is controlled by the sensor's low-voltage output. It automatically detects a sinking or sourcing output and then actuates the TRIAC. The d.c. output will reportedly power most types of sensors, allowing users to take advantage of the advanced features available in d.c. sensors that are not available in a.c. sensors.
