Sheet Metal Joining Systems
Booth No. 255

BTM is the world-leading supplier of sheet metal joining systems used in the manufacture of residential and commercial appliances. Sheet metal joining, often called “clinching,” is a cost-saving alternative to spot-welding, threaded fastening, and riveting. The reason for these cost savings is the ability to achieve joint strength requirements while eliminating the need for costly commodities such as weld tips and fasteners. The foundation of BTM’s sheet metal joining systems is the patented Tog-L-Loc Tooling System, which produces a clean, strong, and consistent joint in most coated, non-coated, and dissimilar materials.

As your manufacturing partner, BTM provides a myriad of services to ensure the optimization of your manufacturing process. BTM’s Application Engineering Team follows each application through the phases of specification review, sample make-up/testing, and proposal/estimating, so the equipment quoted meets your specific requirements. Once an order is received, a BTM project manager facilitates the design, builds, and does an in-house review of your equipment. The project manager also communicates with you any schedule impact issues, project progress reports, and estimated deliveries. Even after the equipment is shipped to your facility, BTM is there to provide start-up and after-sale services to ensure maximum productivity of your systems.

BTM also manufactures a complete line of standard products used in the manufacture of appliances. Standard products are utilized in work holding, clinching, and piercing applications and include pneumatic power clamps, grippers, locators, air toggle presses, and air/oil intensifying presses. These products can be integrated in a machine built by BTM or by your favorite fixture builder. For more information, contact BTM at +810/364-4567 or log onto www.Tog-L-Loc.com.
