Home appliance producer Jura-Capresso announced it is expanding its line of Super Automatic coffee and espresso centers with the introduction of the Jura-Capresso Impressa F7. The line now spans nine models under the Jura-Capresso and Capresso brand names ranging from U.S. $799 to over $2,000, offering multiple choices in features and design for consumers who want crema coffees, espressos, lattes, cafe mocha lattes, and cappuccinos at home.

The Impressa F7 reportedly grinds, tamps, brews, and cleans up in less than 1 min, making one or two cups at a time. User-friendly operating buttons and LED display system indicate cup size and coffee strength. A turn-dial allows users to select a cup size from 1 to 8 oz with three coffee strength settings.

The commercially developed conical steel burrs grind the exact amount of coffee in six fineness settings. The 18 bar power pump pushes water through a stainless steel lined ThermoBlock to create the perfect cup of coffee. The ThermoBlock technology allows users to go back to brewing coffee without purging or waiting time. The machine has additional settings for higher temperatures and stronger aromas and features 10 auto-shut-off settings.

The LED display can show the information in six languages, including Spanish and Italian. A separate funnel even lets you use pre-ground coffee if a decaf or flavored coffee is requested.

The machine is available for shipment in July 2004, with a suggested retail price of $1,499. It comes with an instructional video, a detailed instruction manual, and a quick reference guide on water-resistant paper.
