The SPSF Series sensor is said to detect tilt movements in four directions. According to the company, the sensor's highly occlusive sealing structure makes reflow soldering possible, and it can be mounted on either side of a board because of its vertically symmetrical structure. The sensor's original contact structure is also said to ensure high reliability. Applications include detection of the vertical/horizontal of camera pictures, automatic vertical/horizontal switching of a display devices, movement of a mobile device (turning on a backlight when a mobile device is tilted), and detecting the posture and a movement of a toy or robot.
