According to the company, beside chokes and capacitors, optimized carbon brushes can also reduce the RFI (radio frequency interference) level in universal motors. Therefore, the company has designed a new graphite material for universal motors with low power. This material reportedly shows a reduction of RFI by 10-15 dB compared to existing materials. Through its specific material properties such as electrical resistivity, modulus of elasticity, and coefficient of friction, the RFI level can reportedly be influenced favorably.
