The company's Model TM self-tapping insert driver is said to be a versatile, portable, bench-top tool that is easily adapted to a prototype and low-production requirements. After the insert is placed into the host or directly onto the drive tip, the operator pulls the handle until the insert engages the host component. The insert automatically rotates, screwing itself into a pre-set depth. An internal clutch causes the tip to reverse rotation, unscrewing itself from the insert. The Model TM features interchangeable tips, pneumatic flow controls, up-down adjustment, and positive mechanical stop to set insertion depth. According to the company, it will accommodate all self-tapping style inserts in a wide range of sizes.
