The new Snapper (McDonough, GA, U.S.) Fast Cut(TM) is a commercial-quality zero-turn mower that reportedly allows homeowners to achieve professional results. The mower is available in two models - one featuring an 18-hp Kohler Command engine with a 44-in mowing deck; the second is a 20-hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-twin engine with a 50-in mowing deck. Both engine options feature full-pressure oil lubrication, a cast-iron cylinder liner, a mechanical fuel pump, and an easy-to-access oil filter, according to the company. A main feature of the mower, says the company, is a genuine commercial drive system that independently powers the drive wheels with separate pumps and wheel motors for extra power and durability. Wheel motors include integrated brakes, and ground speeds are 0-7 mph forward, 0-5 mph reverse. Attachments/accessories include a headlight kit, a mulch kit, and a twin- or triple-collection system. |
