The grill is equipped with the Electronic Crossover(R) ignition system and a fixed, commercial-grade thermometer.
Stainless steel is used extensively in the construction of the Gold A, including:
a double-walled, stainless-steel hood
a stainless steel hood handle
grates made of welded stainless steel
heavy-duty stainless steel Flavorizer(R) bars
heavy-duty steel bottom shelf
enclosed storage area with stainless steel doors
The primary cooking area if the grill is 648 square inches. the warming rack area is 140 square inches. The Warm-Up(TM) basket area is 114 square inches, giving the unit a total cooking area of 902 square inches.
The Gold A is designed with two thermoset work surfaces and two thermoset swing-up work surfaces. It also has:

crack-proof, all-weather wheels
LP gas models have a 20-lb LP tank and a precision tank scale. Natural gas models have a 12-foot flexible hose.
