The Heat-N-Glo LifeStyle Collection of products for outdoor living announces the release of Dakota, said to be the world’s first outdoor gas fireplace. The Dakota’s patented technologies and stainless steel construction are said to hold up to the rigors of outdoor use.

Dakota generates 75,000 BTUs, but thanks to a venting system, does so without a chimney.
