The Model 1740 wound product test system is a fully programmable PC-based test system for wound products such as armatures, stators, fields, and coils. The system reportedly provides for innovative and reliable, high-speed production line testing in both manual and automated applications. The standard tests include a.c. hipot, d.c. hipot, resistance, tang-weld resistance, and surge. While optional tests such as double-insulated hipot and polarity are readily available, the system's unique modular software design allows for easy accommodation of other custom tests and applications.
