A new line of high-precision NTC thermistors feature temperature precision of ±/-0.3°C (32.5°F), making them suitable for applications that require extremely accurate temperature control compensation. The new thermistors are said to provide low cost, high stability, and excellent thermal cycle endurance, as well as small ß value tolerance and resistance. They reportedly require no adjustment between the control circuit and the sensor, feature an operating temperature range of -50°C to 110°C (-58°F to 230°F), and are available in all resistance-temperature (R/T) curve materials. Resistance values at 25°C (77°F) are available from 1K ohms to 47K ohms. Standard tolerance ranges are ±1 percent, ±3 percent, and ±5 percent. Dissipation value is 2 mW/°C in still air with a typical thermal time constant of 15 sec. Maximum power rating is 10-15 mW at 25°C (77°F). The series is manufactured with 0.20-in (5-mm) tin-plated leads and a chip coating of black epoxy resin. Leads measure 1.023-in (26-mm) in length with chips of 0.118 in by 0.138 in (3 mm x 3.5 mm).
