South Korea's Samsung Electronics said it has yet to decide whether to build a consumer electronics plant in Poland.
"There is no decision yet. It is still under review," said Samsung spokeswoman Lee Yon-Hee.
News reports said Samsung would build the U.S. $100 million consumer electronics plant in Poland in a drive to expand its sales of refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners in the European market.
The firm has been looking at Poland, Hungary and Slovakia as potential sites.
Attracted by low-cost labor in central Europe, South Korea's LG Electronics said in September it would build a consumer electronics plant in Poland. (AFX, Forbes.com)
