Bathroom, kitchen, attic, and basement remodeling are on the rise in the U.S., according to a report from RenovationExperts.com, a network of remodeling contractors. September statistics from the network show a decline in homeowners looking to have a custom home built by a residential general contractor. Conversely, the report shows an increase in the number of homeowners looking to perform a home improvement-type renovation.
Bathroom and kitchen remodeling increased marginally by half of a percent and homeowners who were looking to hire a residential general contractor to carry out a basement or attic remodel increased by 1.6% over September 2004.
