Samsung Canada Opens New Headquarters, Showroom

Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. officially opened its new national headquarters and showroom in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

The grand opening event was hosted by Jae Soon (J.S.) Park, president and CEO of Samsung Canada; Dong Jin (D.J.) Oh, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America; and Her Worship Hazel McCallion, Mayor of Mississauga.

Created by designer Bruce Mau and his team, the showroom, including a corporate boardroom, measures 5,000-square-feet and displays Samsung’s full line of product, complete with a full wall of 46-inch LCD monitors, and a video presentation, also produced by Bruce Mau Designs.

The space features dedicated areas for plasma, monitors, home appliances and digital convergence, as well as a discussion zone, reception and waiting room. Samsung says the showroom will be used as a customer meeting space. The boardroom is outfitted with video conferencing capabilities to all Samsung global offices.
