Home appliance producer Bosch introduced its Titanium(TM) Free-Standing Range that features an upgrade of the traditional white range color with stainless steel accents.

The new range includes Bosch's Touch & Turn(TM) Oven Control, a single dial that controls up to nine cooking modes, but while conventional stainless steel ranges feature black elements as a secondary color, the new Bosch Titanium Range offers consumers the white design option.

“The addition of the Bosch Titanium Free-Standing Convection Range to the Bosch cooking portfolio offers consumers a unique opportunity to blend stainless steel into the light and airy kitchen designs that are becoming so popular with our customers,” said President and CEO Franz J. Bosshard. “Our ranges are designed with consumers’ lifestyles in mind. They make it easy to put great, nutritious food on the table, even with little time, and they match and accentuate contemporary kitchen designs.”

The range also features a 15,000 BTU Powersim(TM) all-in-one burner that can be used for fast boiling, stir-frying and gentle simmering. Another Bosch exclusive, Genuine European Convection(TM), provides an additional heating element to ensure even cooking temperatures throughout the oven for faster and better cooking results.

The contemporary European design of the range features six rack positions and full-extension racks, which reportedly provide easier access to the oven interior. Additionally, the unit features an extra-wide 25-inch oven cavity and the choice of a warming drawer or storage drawer.

With an MSRP ranging from U.S. $2,099 to $2,199, the new Bosch Titanium Free-Standing Ranges will be available in gas and dual-fuel models beginning in October 2005.
