In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Nexgrill Industries Inc. recalled an estimated 644 of its Jenn-Air Model 720-0100 natural gas outdoor grills. Consumers were advised to stop using the product.

According to Nexgrill, a hose connecting the natural gas source to the grill’s main manifold may not have been supplied with the grills. Without the hose, gas would be emitted into the air, creating a potential fire hazard. As of press time, no injuries were reported.

The Jenn-Air outdoor grill has four main burners, a side burner and a rotisserie burner. It is made of stainless steel and is used with natural gas. Model number 720-0100 is located on the back panel of the grill. The brand name "Jenn-Air" is on a plate on the grill lid.

The grills were sold at Lowes Stores throughout the U.S. from April 2004 through May 2004 for about U.S. $800.
