Scott D. Martin succeeded Gary L. Tapella as president and CEO of HVAC maker Rheem Manufacturing. Tapella made the announcement, saying he will remain as chairman for an interim period.
Martin (pictured) recently relocated to Rheem's corporate headquarters in New York, New York, U.S., to serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He previously served 10 years at the company's Water Heater Division in Montgomery, Alabama, U.S. He became Division President in 2000, following leadership positions in marketing at the water heater operation.
"I have the utmost confidence that Scott's solid leadership will result in continued advancements at Rheem to best serve our customers and ensure the continued growth and success of our company," said Tapella.
