To forge a closer bond with consumers, Whirlpool Corp. announced that it is hosting a series of "Podcasts" on its Web site that delve into diverse family issues such as parenting, career, health, and relationships.
Launching this week on whirlpool.com/family, the 30-min Podcasts feature real, everyday people talking about the joys and challenges that they face as they raise families, build loving relationships, create a fulfilling career and homelife, and try to live an authentic life.
The Podcasts are hosted by Audrey Reed-Granger, director of Consumer Insight for Whirlpool brand.
"While each Podcast tells one person's individual story, there are many universal truths that run throughout the series and paint a real portrait of families in America today," said Ms. Reed-Granger. "We know that there is more to our consumers than their appliance purchase decisions. While future Podcasts might address specific Whirlpool products, this initial series on the American Family will simply serve as an opportunity for our consumers to connect with the company - and each other - on a deeper level."
Whirlpool will post the Podcasts every Monday and Thursday morning. There will also be special American Family Podcast events throughout the year, featuring conversations with experts on a variety of subjects related to parenting and homelife.
