Concordia Coffee Systems, a manufacturer of automatic espresso machines, has announced the Concordia Self-Serve Espresso Bar, the first turnkey kiosk that reportedly provides a genuine café experience right out of the box.

The company says the Self-Serve Espresso Bar brings consistent, high-quality gourmet coffee beverages to consumers at a fraction of the cost of building and staffing a café and is an ideal way for coffee roasters, managed foodservice operations, hotels, and other venues to boost profits from the espresso business.

The kiosk features Concordia's Acorto Model 2500i automatic espresso machine, which produces lattes and cappuccinos at the touch of a button, as the machine automatically grinds whole coffee beans and steams and froths fresh milk. An optional vending system is available to handle stored value payment, debit/credit cards, and cash.

Fully self-contained, the espresso bar fits through a standard doorway and is set up by connecting the unit to power, water, and a drain line. It includes customer-branded signage and menu board, refrigeration unit, water treatment system, cup dispensers, waste bin, and under-counter supply storage area. The espresso bar is approximately 8 ft high and 6 ft wide installed. In addition to the vending mechanism, optional features include syrup dispensers, water and drain tanks, as well as an additional refrigeration unit.
