Helen of Troy to Expand U.S. Distribution Center

Personal care appliance maker Helen of Troy Limited announced the completion of an agreement for the construction and purchase of a 1.2 million-sq-ft distribution center in Southaven, MS, U.S.

The company says the new center will expand its eastern U.S. distribution capacity to accommodate the needs of the Company's recently acquired OXO International.

"This new distribution center will replace our existing facility and will also provide for projected increased sales in our other product categories," Gerald J. Rubin, chairman, CEO, and president, said. Helen of Troy is very pleased with its DeSoto County/ Southaven facility and workforce, and is expanding its overall business operation to accommodate expected future growth of the company."
