Appliance maker Electrolux is targeting European women in a new ad campaign. The 5-million pound (approx. U.S. $9.5 million) ad campaign will promote AEG-Electrolux washing machines, refrigerators, and double ovens using the slogan "Perfekt in Form und Funktion."

There will also be a consumer press campaign breaking in May that will highlight the features of Zanussi-Electrolux products, including washing machines and dishwashers. It will run in magazines such as The Observer Magazine and Guardian Weekend.

"The heavyweight AEG-Electrolux campaign continues to target upmarket females who are passionate about food and passionate about their homes," said Andrew Mackay, brand and marketing director for Electrolux in the UK.

"The choice of titles and frequency of communication will ensure that AEG is the preferred brand on the shopping list of the premium appliance purchaser," Mr. Mackay said. (Staff Brand Republic)
