Viking Introduces Outdoor Electric Smoker Oven and Outdoor Ice Machine

Appliance maker Viking Range Corporation has expanded its lineup of outdoor products, giving consumers every advantage of an indoor kitchen in an outdoor setting, with its new outdoor electric smoker oven and outdoor ice machine.

"These new outdoor products really round out the 'Viking outdoor kitchen' concept," said Sue Bailey, Viking lead product manager. "Viking customers now have the ability to prepare an entire meal outdoors without endless trips back into the home. Only Viking offers that possibility."

The outdoor electric smoker oven reportedly features a dedicated smoker element, louvered sidewalls for balanced oven heat, and an exclusive plenum system that mixes heat, water vapor, and smoke for a slow smoking environment for both cold and hot smoking, as well as standard baking. The smoker includes a drip tray and a large-capacity water pan for smoking.

The Viking outdoor undercounter/freestanding ice machine is agency certified for outdoor use, incorporating insulated electrical terminals, sealed electrical contacts, and a water-resistant thermostat. It produces 35 lbs of _-in clear ice per day. The outdoor ice machine is available with a solid door in stainless steel, Viking blue, forest green, and graphite gray. Brass trim option is available with all finishes.
