Automation equipment maker Rockwell Automation Inc. said it still expects to earn U.S. $1.10 a share in fiscal 2003 before one-time items. Rockwell Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Don H. Davis made the statement before the Electrical Products Group of Securities Analysts Conference in Florida. He said the forecast excludes a previously disclosed tax benefit of a minimum of $65 million associated with the settlement of the company's research and experimentation tax credit refund claim.
