South Korea's PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LGEIN) said it is set to grab a 20-percent share of the air-conditioner (AC) market in the country this year.
General Manager Sales & Marketing of LGEIN Sung Khiun said Jakarta is the main market of its air-conditioners, accounting for 45 percent of total sales in the country, followed by Surabaya, which accounts for 15 percent.
Sung Khiun said the country's AC market will reach 850,000 units this year, up from 700,000 units in 2004.
LGEIN is a subsidiary of LG , which sells air-conditioners to 148 countries, including the U.S., Russia, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. (ANTARA)
