Home Depot Names Executive VP of Home Depot Stores

The Home Depot(R) announced that Tom Taylor will assume the newly-created role of executive vice president of Home Depot Stores.

In his new role, Mr. Taylor will be responsible for execution across all U.S. and Mexico stores. Mr. Taylor most recently served as president of the company's Eastern Division and also served as president of the Northwest Division and regional vice president of the Southwest Region.

In addition, the appliance retailer announced that Paul Raines, regional vice president of Florida, is being promoted to division president. Mr. Raines and the other two U.S. division presidents and the president of the Mexico Division will report directly to Mr. Taylor.

The company also announced that its Global Supply Chain and Business Process Improvement groups will report directly to Carl Liebert, senior vice president of Operations. Mr. Liebert was formerly senior vice president and division president for Circuit City prior to joining The Home Depot in 2003. A Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, Mr. Liebert has extensive retail experience in operations, sourcing, and logistics.
