Consumer electronics retailer Circuit City Stores Inc. reported that same-store sales declined 4.3 percent in the third quarter.
International sales helped Circuit City increase overall sales 3.8 percent. The company reported sales of U.S. $2.5 billion for the quarter ended Nov. 30, 2004 increased $2.41 billion from the same period in 2003.
For the first 9 months, the company reported sales of $6.91 billion, a 6.4 percent increase compared to $6.5 billion from the same period in 2003.
