Sears Opens New Grand Store on U.S. West Coast

Appliance retailer Sears, Roebuck and Co. announced that it will open the doors to its first Sears Grand pilot store in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, U.S. and the fourth in the U.S.

The 180,000-sq-ft store features a combination of private and national brands, carrying appliances, lawn and garden equipment, tools, automotive products and services, sporting goods, and apparel and hardware in addition to books and magazines, baby supplies, key cutting, plant nursery, card and party supplies, health and beauty products, and CDs and DVDs.

"Sears Grand offers busy shoppers a way to manage their lives and households more efficiently," said Teresa Byrd, vice president, general merchandise manager for Sears off-mall stores. "We listened to our customers and designed Sears Grand as the ultimate solution for busy families."
