The Reiker Company of Shalimar, FL, U.S. announced that its room conditioner product will be available this fall in select Home Depot stores.

"We're very excited to add Home Depot to our distribution network. It makes the Reiker Room Conditioner more readily available to our customers," says Ken Reiker, owner and inventor of the Reiker Room Conditioner.

The Reiker Room Conditioner is a heating device that looks and operates like a ceiling fan. Unlike many room heaters, the device heats without cords and is said to eliminate the possibilities of burn accidents.

A smart remote communicates with four energy-efficient ceramic heating elements housed above the fan blades. Users set the desired room temperature, and the heating elements will turn on and off as needed. It also includes an energy-efficient light kit.

According to Mr. Reiker, the room conditioner adds warmth without additional duct work and without the drawbacks or concerns of a space heater. "It's also one way to easily and affordably achieve zone heating in just about any type of home or living space that you have," he said.

The Reiker Room Conditioner retails for approximately U.S. $350. In addition to Home Depot, Reiker products are available at Menard's stores, Orchard Supply, Home Hardware (Canada), lighting showrooms, and online through Web retailers. Home Deport will exclusively offer it in two new decorator colors -- Flemish Pewter and Ancient Bronze.
