Asko yesterday announced the release of its D3000-series dishwasher line.

The dishwasher line features several options that, according to the company, ensure that dishes are thoroughly washed. All models in the line feature the company's patented Super Cleaning System(TM) and PowerZone(TM) nozzles that spray directly on cutlery and pots and pans. Other features include room enough for 12 5-piece place settings, the HalfLoad program to wash either the top rack or bottom rack by itself, and water temperatures up to 170-degrees F.

Model D3530 offers an AutoWash program, which, according to the company, uses sensors to control the wash cycle and the dry cycle for consistent performance.

All D3000 models, except for the D3120, use the company's TurboFan Drying system to suck most air out of the tank.

The company reports that a normal cycle uses less than four gallons of water and annual electricity usage is as low as 222 kWh, earning the dishwasher line an Energy Star(R) label.
