Appliance retailer Lowe's announced it will be carrying several new appliances as part of its fall product line up. The appliances include products in the laundry, kitchen, and power tools segments.
Lowe's said it will be exclusively selling Whirlpool's 24-in front-loading washer and dryer. The pair features 11 wash and dry cycles and reportedly uses less water and energy than conventional top-load models while featuring flexible installation options. Depending on space and style, this pair can be installed side-by-side, beneath a standard countertop, or stacked in a closet. The washer sells for U.S. $700 and the dryer for an average $500.
The retailer will also be carrying Fisher & Paykel's Intuitive Eco(TM) laundry system. According to the appliance maker, users select the level of soiling and the machine then decides the best water level, wash action, wash time, and rinse and spin cycle for the load. The unit sells for about $850.
In the kitchen appliance segment, Lowe's will be selling Bosch's 30-in Free-Standing Convection Range. Bosch says the appliance features the PowerSim(TM) burner system that allows multiple setting ranging from 400 BTUs to 15,000 BTUs. The appliance sells from $1,000 to $1,900.
In the power tool segment, the retailer will be carrying Hitachi's(R) Finishing Sander. Hitachi says its new 1/4 sheet finishing sander features a palm grip that gives the user complete control while reducing vibration. The unit sells for about $55.
