Sanyo to Repair Defective Washer-Dryers Sep 10, 2004 |

Sanyo Electric Co. said it will offer free replacement of defective parts in about 164,000 washer-dryers after finding out that some of the products caught fire.
Products being recalled include the Top Oven Drum series of washer-dryers sold in Japan between 2002 and 2003 and some of the three successor models sold since 2003.
