Briggs & Stratton Sells Canadian Unit Aug 2, 2004 |

Lawnmower engine maker Briggs & Stratton Corporation has sold the assets of its subsidiary, Briggs & Stratton Canada Inc., to a new independent Canadian company named PSC - Power Source Canada Ltd., the company announced.
The manufacturer said the purpose of the sale is to ensure superior logistic and technical support for Briggs & Stratton dealers across Canada.
"Being an independent Canadian distributor provides Power Source Canada Ltd. with greater flexibility and focus on customer needs," Steve Rugg, senior vice president of Sales & Service, said in a statement.
