Samsung, LG Agree to Jointly Recycle Appliances

Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc., said to be South Korea's top two electronics manufacturers, have agreed to jointly recycle home appliances, according the Association of Electronics Environment, a South Korean environmental group.

Under the agreement, Samsung and LG will jointly collect and dispose of disused electronic products, such as televisions, refrigerators, personal computers, and other appliances containing toxic chemicals, according to the association. (Yonhap)
