Jarvis Appliances, a 45-year old, family owned and operated appliance dealership, recently announced it will carry Fisher & Paykel's DishDrawer, said to be the world's first Kosher dishwasher, in its Wellesley, MA, U.S. showroom.

According to Jarvis, the DishDrawer is considered Kosher because it can be installed as a two-drawer dishwasher, with each drawer operating independently. Los Angeles-based Rabbi Yehudah Bukspan of U.S. Kosher, who supervises Kosher products throughout the U.S., stated that the DishDrawer follows dietary laws requiring separate dishwashers for meat and dairy dishes.

"The DishDrawer is one of the most exciting and innovative products to come to the marketplace in years," said Nancy Dunn, a principal at Jarvis Appliance. "This new technology is more than bells and whistles; it really saves time and resources. We are pleased to offer our customers a product that fills a real need."
