DACOR(R), maker of kitchen appliances, announced the availability of its 30-in All-Gas Cooktop, model PGM304. According to the company, the new cooktop features the same SimmerSear(TM) burner found on other models, but in a smaller sized appliance.

"The demand for high-end appliances is not exclusive to large homes; consumers and designers working with all types of space considerations seek the quality and performance that our products deliver," explained Larry Lamkins, assistant vice president of marketing for DACOR.

Featuring four sealed gas burners ranging from 9,500 to 15,000 BTUs including one SimmerSear burner, the PGM304 30-in offers low even heat options for holding stews or delicate sauces for instance, and ultra-high BTUs for heat-intensive jobs such as wok cooking or boiling pasta. The PGM304’s SimmerSear burner ranges from 650 to 15,000 BTUs.

The new cooktop is available in a stainless steel finish and also features two 12-in continuous grates on the cooking surface, sealed burners, and a continuous spill basin. Control knobs are equipped with blue "ON" indicator lights and an additional simmer mode light for the SimmerSear knob. Brass valves maintain precise flame level while the Perma-Flame(TM) feature is said to automatically re-ignite the flame if it is accidentally extinguished.
